Samsung Galaxy Note II Has Flaw That Allows You To Bypass The Lock Screen

It appears that Apple that is not alone in having a bug that allows a user to bypass the lock screen. Samsung joins that party with the Galaxy Note II. Here’s a video that illustrates this:

Here’s more detail on this from straight from the guy who discovered it. Now here’s the ironic thing. Samsung has been pushing their security cred with the Galaxy Note II. Here’s what Samsung says on their website:

The Galaxy Note II is SAFE Certified for secure business solutions. There is full Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support for email, calendar events and contacts, and the 256-bit On-Device Encryption prevents unauthorized access to your content. The Note II also comes equipped with full VPN support for corporate intranet and network resources. 

So much for being secure.
