PC Magazine is reporting that Microsoft has filed an emergency motion to keep Microsoft Word shipping after their stunning court defeat last week:
Microsoft on Friday filed an emergency motion to stop the judgment and waive bond requirement, according to court filings. The actual document was filed under seal, so the full contents of the request have not yet been made public.
Clearly this is meant to keep the status quo while Microsoft goes through the appeals process. I wonder if the motion was delivered as a Word document?
